Church Planting news from around the UK

Edge has begun in Bristol ...

... a new church that is part of the Edge Church International (based in Adelaide, South Australia) and AoG.

Through the coming together of 2 churches in the city and the apostolic input of Pastor Danny Guglielmucci, this brand new church is all set to make a difference, serving the community with a message of hope, truth and love.

Already there is an incredible sense of expectation and faith with many answers to prayer, along with new people finding hope in God.

Nick Resce - senior leader of Edge Church who has moved to the UK with his wife Meredith and one of their sons - was literally passing by Bristol back in 2005 and felt God speak to him about this Gateway City.

"A lot has happened in 3 years to bring us to this point, not least the incredible connections and resources that God has brought together to enable and equip us to not only establish a strong kingdom minded church but also to pioneer other churches across UK and Europe." Nick Resce.

Jason Gowland, with wife Kim and their young children also made the move from Adelaide to the UK to support the work in Bristol.

Tim Robertson - AoG National Church Planting Director and also Edge Bristol staff member, believes that what happens in Bristol will serve as a model for other church planting projects in the nation.

The offical launch of Edge Church Bristol took place on April 19.
